Harry slammed her door on his way out.

Ginny tried not to cry, or think about how upset he had looked. They both had been so angry. And now she could not remember what the fight was about. Then her eyes fell on the pair of gloves he left on her couch and she thought about how he might get cold and what if the blizzard outside got worse?

As she opened her door, hoping she might catch him, there he was, standing there as if he never left.

“I’m sorry,” whispered Harry.

And Ginny hugged him. “Me too, love.”

Ginny sat at the window, watching the blizzard's snow gather. Hours had passed since Harry had left and she was beginning to worry. She knew he was the best but even a cat only had nine lives, after all.

Emerald flames flared and Harry stumbled out. Ginny rushed to him, swiped away the remaining snow from his cloak, took his freezing face into her hands.

“What took so damn long?”

She kissed him, pulling off his outer gear, slipping his hands underneath her shirt to rest against her skin.

“Let's get you warm.”

“I'm halfway there already.”

“Why thank you. Using those super Auror powers again?”

Harry grazed Ginny's neck with kisses. He'd just reached the curve of her shoulder when the fireplace lit.

“Sorry to bother you, Potter, but we need you.”

“Right.”

Harry pulled away and gathered his winter gear. Ginny glanced outside.

“But it's a blizzard outside! How can you possibly do anything?”

Harry gathered Ginny into his arms, kissing her gently.

“I'll be fine.”

Emerald flames flashed and he was gone. Ginny sat staring at the blowing snow.

“Keep him safe.”

Ginny looked out the window of their cabin and shivered.

“Harry, what the hell are we doing vacationing in Norway in January? There’s a blizzard outside! We can’t even get to the main lodge!”

Harry slipped his hand under her blouse and up to her breasts, kissing her deeply.

“We have a fridge full of food, a well-stocked bar, a roaring fire, and a very comfortable looking bed. I can think of a LOT of things to do!”

Ginny blushed a tad and began unbuttoning his shirt.

“And the kids are all safe at school. You’re brilliant, Harry! Just brilliant!”
